At SACA, the health and wellness of our clients, staff, and volunteers during this pandemic has been and will continue to be one of our top priorities, which is why we feel it\u2019s important to let the community know that two of our staff\/volunteer members have tested positive for COVID-19.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Because of this, we will NOT be distributing food today through Thursday, December 17 and our office will be closed the rest of the week. We apologize for the hardship this causes. See below for more information and for other places to get food in our area.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

About the exposure: The people who tested positive worked the Wednesday (December 2) and Thursday (December 3) from 9am-12pm. These people were wearing masks during these shifts. These people became symptomatic on Friday (December 4) and tested positive on Monday (December 7), with results received today, Thursday December 10th.<\/div>\n

We continue to follow OHA\/CDC guidelines for keeping our community safe. In response to this COVID-19 exposure, we are taking the following precautionary measures, as recommended by public health experts:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

-Staff and volunteers who were directly exposed have been advised to self-quarantine for 14 days from their last exposure, which was Thursday, December 3. These team members will not be at SACA until after Thursday, December 17.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
-We will be closed through Thursday, December 17.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
-We will have our facility and equipment deep cleaned prior to reopening.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
-We will contact clients (if we have contact information for them) that may have been exposed.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
<\/div>\n
-We will continue to keep our community informed as this develops. If we are unable to safely re-open next week, we will inform the community through social media, our website, and voicemail greeting, as well as signs on our building and word of mouth.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
